Sr. Project Manager

mageba USA, with offices in New York City and a production facility in Pottstown, PA, is currently seeking a motivated Senior Project Manager to join its team in the New York office. mageba USA designs and fabricates expansion joints, bearings, seismic devices, and monitoring services for bridges and buildings.

Responsibilities include

  • Manage projects from proposal stage, to procurement and fabrication, through installation

  • Provide technical input on all project aspects, and preparation of construction documents

  • Review technical drawings of bridge bearings and expansion joints

  • Review project contract and specification documents

  • Create and issue Project Submittals, RFI’s and Change Orders

  • Provide technical support to production, purchasing, and sales departments

  • Ensure that projects meet all contract and regulatory requirements

  • Coordinate purchasing, production and invoicing with other team members

  • Perform general engineering tasks and support R&D activities

  • Travel as needed to ensure proper fabrication and installation

  • Perform effectively under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Maintain a positive attitude

Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required, Master’s Degree preferred

  • Minimum 10 years of full-time work experience in project management

  • Strong understanding and working knowledge of structural engineering preferred

  • Previous experience in contract management expected

  • Strong communication skills, including analytical, collaboration and problem solving

  • Strong working experience with Microsoft Office required

  • Valid US employment visa. mageba USA is based in New York City and the candidate must be eligible to work in the US
