Project description
The project ‚Al Bustan South‘ involves expanding the existing 2.88 kilometre-long, six-lane Al-Bustan Street into an eight-lane highway. It comprises the construction of an expressway to the north of Doha with grade separated junctions, four-lanes dual deck to form a 1,946 meter long bridge structure, including 863 m of on/off ramp bridges.
mageba scope
Until the end of 2019 mageba supplied 214 spherical bearings. In addition, 444 m of mageba expansion joints were supplied and installed, comprising 28 units of TENSA®MODULAR between LR2 to LR9 hybrid joints, of up to 720 mm of maximum movement.
