Principle
LASTO-FLONPAD is a high-quality point bearing, either reinforced or unreinforced, that facilitates both longitudinal and transverse sliding movements. Even large displacements of structural elements are accommodated with practically no friction, and with minimal construction height. It consists of a PTFE-coated elastomeric bearing core and a stainless steel sliding plate with a specially treated, polished surface. This high-quality sliding pairing offers excellent sliding properties, durably and reliably.
Applications
LASTO-FLONPAD is used to achieve high-quality bearing support for slabs on walls, columns, cantilever and pre-stressed slabs. It is particularly suitable for concrete and masonry construction, steel construction, timber construction, pipelines, machines, reservoirs and water tanks, and many other uses. Within the 1000 x 2000 mm dimensions of the sliding plate, any shape is possible.
