North Bridge Trilogiport
Project description
Within the course of the construction of the Liege “Trilogiport” multimodal platform a new bridge across the River Maas as well as a semi motorway interchange were built in order to enable heavy vehicles coming from Liege or Holland to reach directly the platform.
Located 1’400 m downstream, the bridge of Argenteau is approximately 300 m long. Its largest span is 88 m in length and crosses over the River Maas.

mageba supplied 32 RESTON®SPHERCIAL bearings and four TENSA®MODULAR joints for the project.
The Spherical bearings were designe with a vertical load capacity between 5’000 kN and 28’700 kN.
The movement capacity of the expansion joints is 160 mm for the LR2 and 240 mm for the LR4.
