Ho Chi Minh Urban Railway – Line 1
Project description
The Ho Chi Minh Urban Railway – Line 1 has a total length of 19.7 km and includes a 2.2 km underground section with 3 underground stations, and a 17.5 km long elevated section with 11 stations.
The project is expected to meet the increasing public transport demand in Ho Chi Minh City, thus contributing to the region’s economic development and at the same time mitigates the negative impact of traffic congestions and air pollution.

mageba supplied 44 units of RESTON®POT bearings for Sai Gon Bridge, Rach Chiec Bridge, Hanoi Highway Bridge and for the viaduct of Ho Chi Minh Urban Railway.
The RESTON®POT bearings installed have a maximum load capacity of 12,480 kN. The bearings are designed and manufactured in accordance with AASHTO standard.
