Performance Manager / Internal Project Manager (m/f)

In this diversified role you will improve the efficiency within our group as a project leader with strategic as well as operational focus. Due to the nature of these projects you will be in continuous contact with all our entities around the world on regular basis and also sometimes travel to our global production plants. In order to achieve higher performance you will set standards and create a continuous improvement mind set in many areas. Typical projects are the definition of group wide business processes and improvement of key performance indicators in production.

In this position, you will be part of our Bülach-based Headquarters. You will report directly to the Group Chief Performance & Technology Officer. Main Responsibilities

  • Leading of strategic and operational projects including road maps, business plans, costs, due dates, etc.

  • Ensuring of project related information exchange between mageba entities and between departments (production, engineering, HR, finance, …) on a global basis

  • In depth coordination of efficiency improvement in production

  • Proactively developing and driving continuous improvement efforts including process improvement strategies and efficiency initiatives at a global level

  • Building operational excellence capabilities to support performance improvement opportunities and help create a proactive culture of improvement

  • Managing the link between R&D and production

  • Coordination of improvement strategies to fit business plans for delivery, cost and quality improvement

  • Facilitation of monthly key performance indicator reviews and derivation of required actions

  • Follow-up and monitoring of agreed action plans with all involved people

  • Handle confidential information and maintain the security of multiple records and files

Experience and qualifications

  • University degree in mechanical or industrial engineering

  • Experience in Business Process Improvement

  • Experience in production and procurement processes

  • Experience in Lean / Six Sigma implementation preferred

  • Entrepreneurial, self-organised, proactive and well-structured person

  • Ability to collaborate successfully with various stakeholders on different hierarchical levels

  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and change leadership capability

  • An interest in data analytics and preparation of business plans advantageous

  • Ability to effectively lead international projects

  • Excellent skills in presentation, communication and creation of executive summaries

  • Fluent written and spoken in English and German

  • Performance minded and flexible to cover work peaks and extra miles when needed

  • Ability to travel 10-20% of the time (as an annual average)
