Milan - September 28, 2017 – Salini Impregilo S.p.A. has now presented its Best Supplier Awards for 2017, and mageba is proud to be among the winners. The Italian company, which has 35,000 employees and specialises in the construction of major, complex projects around the world, uses the awards to recognise outstanding contributions to its projects’ success from a small number of its many suppliers.

mageba was recognized at the awards ceremony in Milan as the company’s most innovative supplier (‘Innovation Award 2017’), for the products and solutions supplied for the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) construction project in Athens. For this very prestigious project, mageba supplied specially designed RESTON-PENDULUM curved surface sliders, RESTON-SA shock absorbers, RESTON-SP spring devices and a ROBO-CONTROL SHM system.

mageba was represented at the ceremony by Niculin Meng, Chief Sales Officer of mageba Group, and Achilleas Athanasiou, Deputy Head of Infrastructure of mageba Group and Project Manager of the SNFCC supply contract.
Niculin Meng commented: “We are very honored to have received this award from Salini Impregilo, and delighted to have first been selected to supply so many critical structural components for the construction of the SNFCC’s outstanding buildings. On behalf of the whole mageba Group, I would like to thank Salini Impregilo, and especially Mr. Gianni Botteon, the SNFCC project’s highly respected Project Director, for this great honor.”
