Made in USA

A look inside mageba USA’s new factory in Pottstown, PA – where an efficient manufacturing facility for a wide range of structural components has been established within a short period of time
mageba has served the American market for many years, supplying key components for structures such as the Audubon Bridge, the Bayonne Bridge and the SR 520 Floating Bridge in the United States and the Port Mann Bridge and the Golden Ears Bridge in Canada. But in December 2015, the company signed a lease for its first owned manufacturing facility in the United States, marking the beginning of a new and exciting phase in mageba’s commitment to the American market. Following completion of a major renovation in March 2016, the factory got up and running, quickly achieving AISC certification. Within six months of the renovation, extraordinary TENSA®FINGER expansion joints had been supplied for the Verrazano Narrows Bridge, and large TENSA®MODULAR joints had been supplied for the Ohio River Bridges – East End Crossing.

Quality is at the heart of every job undertaken at the new facility, with its team of highly qualified and experienced manufacturing specialists. Quality inspection staff include a full-time QA/QC Manager, AWS & CWI certified welding inspectors and NACE-certified anti-corrosion coating inspectors.

mageba USA – proud to support the American bridge and building construction industry, and now also to be part of the fabric of American industry.
