Project description
The Mall of Switzerland is a shopping centre in Ebikon in the canton of Lucerne. With 65,000 m2 it is the second largest shopping centre in Switzerland.
The combined construction method in reinforced concrete construction with masonry had to be supplemented by various elastomeric bearings and sliding bearings.
In the one hand, high deformations and rotations occur during construction which can be absorbed by special sliding bearings on the other, modern buildings are subject to building physics requirements, which can be met by using suitable wall and strip deformation bearings.

For this project mageba supplied LASTO-FLONBLOCK Ga rotary sliding bearings, the “easy-to-install” LASTO-BLOCK F bearing, where a purely elastic bearing was required, and the LASTO-WALL G wall bearings, which are known for their fast and practical installation.
