Finance Systems Manager (80-100%)

Your responsibilities

  • Supervise the integration of financial systems across the organization to ensure seamless integration and data consistency

  • Develop and implement strategies for financial system or process improvements and upgrades

  • Collaborate with IT and finance teams to ensure the financial systems and processes align with the organization's requirements

  • Manage the migration of financial and project financial data from disparate legacy systems to new platforms

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards during the consolidation process

  • Provide training and support to finance team on new systems and processes

  • Monitor and report on the progress of the consolidation project to senior management

  • Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies within the financial systems

  • Develop and maintain documentation related to financial systems and processes

  • Lead a project team of finance, technology and consulting professionals to meet project goals and objectives

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology or a related field

  • Professional certifications in finance or accounting (such as CPA or CFA) or an MBA are preferred

  • 8-10 years of demonstrated experience in financial systems consolidation or a comparable position

  • Experience in a project-oriented (manufacturing) environment is essential

  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards, especially DACH region

  • Excellent team player with strong feedback skillsExpertise in financial software and systems, especially in implementing Microsoft ERP solutions

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluency in both English and German is required

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across different geographical locations

  • Strong leadership and project management experience
