Hanoi Parliament Building
Project description
The Hanoi Parliament Building designed by GMP International is intended to be a symbol of power of the legislative chamber, along with the huge progress made by the country in terms of construction, internationalization and development.
The building includes the new offices of the delegations and the Ba Dinh Conference Hall. It has 60,000 m2 premises, 8 floors, 80 meeting rooms with 965 seats.

For the Hanoi Parliament building, mageba supplied 52 units of LASTO-FLONBLOCK elastomeric bearings and a LASTO-BLOCK elastomeric bearing.
LASTO-FLONBLOCK are elastomeric bearings with a PTFE sliding layer vulcanized onto one of their side.
The bearings were chosen to absorb high vertical load, torsion of the bearing surface, and horizontal displacements in the longitudinal and transversal direction with the minimum possible friction.
