mageba scope

mageba is supplying 208 earthquake bearings RESTON-SPHERICAL for vertical loads of up to 94,700 kN and high horizontal loads at the same time, while allowing large movements. The bearings have a special fuse system that was specially developed for the first ever seismic design requirement in Hong Kong.

mageba also provided 4 expansion joints of type TENSA-MODULAR LR8-LS and 37 TENSA-FINGER expansion joints. Modular expansion joints allow movements and rotations in any direction and assure a smooth driving comfort.
