Supply Chain Specialist
Seeking a detail-oriented professional to optimize procurement and logistics. Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to streamline processes, reduce costs, and ensure timely deliveries. Strong communication, negotiation, and multitasking skills required in a fast-paced environment.
Your responsibilities
Procurement Management: Supervise the acquisition of goods and services essential for production or retail operations. Collaborate with vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules while maintaining a strong understanding of technical products.
Logistics and Distribution: Coordinate transportation and ensure smooth, on-time deliveries by coordinating transport and resolving shipping challenges with logistics partners.
Demand Planning and Forecasting: Analyse past data and collaborate with other departments (such as sales, project and production) to forecast demand and plan inventory needs.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Gather and analyze supply chain data to spot inefficiencies, track KPIs, and recommend improvements for cost savings and process optimization.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure supply chain activities meet regulations, industry standards, and company policies while identifying and mitigating potential risks.
Your profile
A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a similar field.
2-5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or logistics.
Familiarity with transportation regulations and customs requirements is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to navigate challenges and provide creative, efficient solutions.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Proficiency in both German and English, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both languages.
