Project description
The West Shopping Center is located on the coast of the city of Rijeka in Croatia. Its location hence allows a broad view to the Kvarner Bay and the nearby islands.
After several years of operating time, the existing expansion joints needed to be replaced and the investor went in search of the best solution.
The main requirement was to keep the time for installation as short as possible in order to assure that daily business would not be affected. Furthermore, the new expansion joints needed to offer good driving comfort, be 100 % water tight and noise emissions should be as low as possible.

With mageba’s flexible plug expansion joint POLYFLEX-ADVANCED PA60, the requirements of the client have been completely fulfilled.
