Martin E. Bachmann becomes the new CEO of the mageba group
The Board of Directors of mageba Group has appointed Martin E. Bachmann (54) as the new CEO effective June 1, 2022. The graduate civil engineer and internationally experienced industrial manager will continue the successful strategy of mageba Group and further strengthen the group of companies as a global specialist and manufacturer of bridge bearings, expansion joints, seismic devices, and structural health monitoring systems.
For the current CEO of mageba Group, Gian Reto Moor, this change in leadership means a relief from his triple role as Group CEO, Regional President for North and Latin America and CEO of mageba in the USA. This will enable him to concentrate better on the demanding markets of the USA/Canada and Latin America.

Martin E. Bachmann is the founder and currently the CEO of BAB Global AG, Switzerland, and previously held various international management positions, including Pöyry Group (today Afry). The 54-year-old Swiss has a broad network in the Swiss and international economy. “I am pleased to be able to further develop mageba group in a dynamic market environment. The infrastructure sector offers opportunities worldwide, which we will use in favor of mageba”, says Martin E. Bachmann.
