As a mageba Group Digitalization team member, you will contribute to our ongoing digital transformation initiatives to enhance our products, processes and services through innovative software solutions. Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Software Solution Development: Develop, implement, and test software solutions based on stakeholders' requirements. This includes creating tools for designing and pricing structural bearings with batch processing capability

  • Application Development: Develop, implement, and test applications to meet stakeholders' requirements and enhance business processes

  • Document Management: Establish and maintain document management best practices, ensuring proper version control and content organization

  • Governance and Compliance: Create and enforce software governance policies to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal guidelines

  • System Optimization: Proactively identify system improvement and optimization areas, providing recommendations to enhance application performance

  • Integration and Migration: Integrate software solutions as needed and ensure compatibility across diverse systems and platforms

  • Collaboration and User Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promptly identify requirements and troubleshoot software-related issues

Qualifications

  • Completed Bachelor's degree in Structural or Mechanical Engineering

  • Further study in IT, Computer Science or Application development

  • Strong programming skills using Python

  • Proficiency in MS Azure (SQL), PowerPlatform, and PowerShell

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software development and application administration

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Good verbal and written English skills

What we offer

This position offers a hybrid work environment, with most work being conducted from a home office. However, during the onboarding period, you must come to our office/factory in Nyirtelek (Hungary) to familiarize yourself with our operations. After onboarding, you must be able to come to our factory when it is necessary to gain insights into production processes, products, and calculation tool requirements.
